Question by AussieGIRL♥: How do you duck dive under a wave with your surfboard?

I am an alright surfer but when it comes to going out deeper I have a bit of trouble. I see other surfers duck dive under the waves while on their boards but when I try to do the same, my board flips up and I fall off.. How can I duck dive under the waves? My board is a surf-betty 72NSP btw.
