Question by DEAN S: How do I plea bargain in court for speeding?

I was cited for speeding in excess of 100mph in California and want to plea bargain for 1 point instead of 2 on my clean drivers license. I have a mandatory court appearance in front of a judge.

I don't think you can plea bargain in cases where speed is in excess of 100 mph. Best of luck with that. I would be surprised if he did not suspend your license though.

Don't know about California, but Illinois would not be so liberal.
